Looking to have personal time with our animals? This is your chance! Come with friends or family and spend 45 minutes meeting each of our animals, spending time in their pastures, and learning about their role on the farm.
This special opportunity allows you to develop a closer relationship with our animals and how they contribute to our land and food systems.
Hangouts are rain or shine. In the event of heavy rain, thunder, or lightning, the hangout will be limited to the barn.

Craft Beer & Cheese Tasting
After your hangout, head to the Thirsty Goat Bar & Patio to sample a variety of Vermont artisan cheeses expertly paired with your choice of beer, wine, cider, or non-alcoholic beverage.Tastings include two drinks of your choice and a selection of three or five Vermont cheeses with crackers and fruit.
ALWAYS FREE ADMISSION: The trails, waters, and lands of Retreat Farm are free and open to the public every day from dawn to dusk thanks to the generosity of visitors like you. Please consider making a donation or become a member so we can continue to serve as a free public common for all.
