Join us for two community quilting bees this March, and help bring Trail Magic to life!

What is Trail Magic? It's a new collaborative art installation created and led by artist Amber Paris, exploring and celebrating the connection people have to Retreat Farm and our Retreat Trails.

The Retreat Trails are an integral part of the Brattleboro community. Open daily from dawn to dusk, the 11-mile trail network provides a connection to the forests and farmlands Retreat Farm stewards, and to the land and waterways we all cherish.

As part of this project, Amber participated in local community events and asked visitors "How do you connect to the Retreat Farm trails?" She then embedded responses on individual fabric squares.

You can be a part of turning the individual squares into the Trail Magic quilt, at the community quilting bees. All skill levels are welcome and supplies will be provided.

Advanced registration is not required but is helpful for planning. Please sign up for your free ticket below.

Stay tuned for more information about the unveiling of Trail Magic on the Retreat Trails in May 24, 2025.
