Celebrate Vermont's agricultural history with farm games, a hay castle, animals, and more. Embark on a scavenger hunt to discover hidden treasures throughout the farm, test your coordination skills with farm games, visit with animals in the Calf Barn, and place a bid during the Funny Farm Auction to benefit Retreat Farm animals.
With lawn games, face painting, and hands-on workshops, Family Farm Day is the perfect way to celebrate the long holiday weekend. Be sure to check out the Thirsty Goat Bar featuring Hill Farmstead and enjoy the expansive outdoor patio while the kids play in Farmhouse Square.

Schedule of Events
All Day Activities: Visit animals in the barn, go on a scavenger hunt, get silly in the Photo Booth with your favorite animal mask, stake your claim in the hay castle, and enjoy the trails and Forest Playground.
10am- Morning Goat Hike ($10 add on)Join us for a 1/2 mile walk around the Nature Trail with our goat friends, the triplets. Limited space is available; get tickets and claim your spot here.
11am & 1pm- Ready, Set, Race!Join in or cheer others on as they take part in the three-legged relay, egg & spoon carry, and sack races.
12-1pm- Build Your Own PizzaCreate a pizza just the way you like with Mach's Wood-Fired Pizza. Select your favorite combination of local toppings to create your perfect pie. (Available for purchase on-site)
3pm- Funny Farm AuctionGet ready to bid on your favorite animal at our live auction fundraiser. The winning bid will receive a photo with your animal and design a custom nameplate for them. All bids support our animal program and help cover the cost of veterinary care, feed, and maintenance of our animal's living spaces.
