Join us for a free, short walk uphill to the Ice Pond, where we will explore the different relationships present and how they come together, with water, stone, earth and sky. By learning of ways to be present-in-place with all of our relations, and participate with them in thecontinuity of Creation, we may better find our own places in what we think of as an overly familiar landscape.Meeting Point: Cedar Street/Harris Hill parking lot. What to Expect: Please allow 2 hours for this trek (20 minutes up and 20 back, and a little more than an hour to walk around, chat, and answer questions). Participants should wear good walking shoes and be able to walk on moderate terrain and slightly off trail in the forest.
This event is free but we are asking people to please register in advance so that we have an idea of the estimated attendance. This land-based experience is guided by Rich Holschuh, Co-Director of the Atowi Project, a shared community initiative to affirm relationships with the Land and All of Our Relations, raise Native voices, and foster inclusion with understanding, in place.FREE TICKET FUND: We're proud to offer a free ticket option for all Retreat Farm events.
